What is Vehicle-rent TravelBee Club?
TravelBee Club is a loyalty program through which our registered customers on vehicle-rent.com may receive rewards or TravelBee Points for future purchases.
TravelBee Club requirements
Only our customers that are fully registered and are logged in to their personal account on the vehicle-rent.com are participating in the TravelBee Club. Only end-customers are participating in the TravelBee Club.
Any bookings made during a logged-out status will not be eligible for TravelBee Points (for future purchases) and shall not be eligible for use of TravelBee Points (possibly deriving from previous purchases).
All rewards and/or TravelBee Points are fixed and connected to one individual profile (with one e-mail).
The rewards and/or TravelBee Points can be used on vehicle-rent.com site only and are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be cashed out.
Current calculation value of 1.00 TravelBee Point = 1.00 EUR.
Current types of TravelBee Club benefits
Current types of TravelBee Club benefits include:
1. New user registration award
Type of benefit: discount toward future purchases in value of 5 TravelBee Points.
Who is eligible:
- any new End-customer that fully and successfully registers at the vehicle-rent platform for the first time.
Who is not eligible:
- any entity that has already been registered in the vehicle-rent platform with same or partially different information;
- or any entity that has been deleted by the administrators due to fraud or other reasons;
- or any entity that is using multiple profiles.
2. TravelBee Points for booking complete status
Type of benefit: TravelBee Points earned based on the value of the current purchase of rent-a-car services that can be used toward future purchases. TravelBee Points are calculated in the value of 5% of the value of current purchase price of core rent-a-car service (after all discounts;– if applicable), rounded to full number with zero decimal points. Value of TravelBee Points for booking complete status is always calculated in relation to euro and is shown in other currencies for information purposes only (based on the current exchange rate between euro and such local currency).
Who is eligible: any fully registered customer, that has been logged into vehicle-rent platform during booking, that has successfully concluded booking under the condition that the customer successfully returned the rented vehicle to rent-a-car provider (in accordance with booking terms & conditions and in accordance with separate agreement between customer and rent-a-car provider) and promptly paid for all services rendered.
Who is not eligible: users that don’t comply with defined criteria, e.g. but not limited to - users that have not been logged into vehicle-rent platform during booking; or users that have made booking but later cancelled the booking; or users that have not picked up the vehicle at the agreed location at the agreed time; or customers that have not returned the vehicle on time or in accordance with the booking terms & conditions and/or Vehicle rent agreement; or customers who made a unjustified reclamation on service; or customers who requested return of the founds paid for booking and/or Car rental service (through credit-card chargeback or reclamation).
3. TravelBee Points for referral booking complete status
Registered users, who may independently asses that our offering would be interesting for their friend, have the possibility to make referral to such potential individual new user (upon clicking the link referral, the hyperlink is generated, that can be sent by user to such potential user) subject to obtaining such person’s prior approval.
Provision of referral links through unsolicited email and similar means is expressly prohibited and may result in deletion of registered user’s profile (and deletion of TravelBee points).
Referrals shall be awarded with 5 TravelBee Points for the person making a successful referral if all following conditions are met:
- the person making a referral is existing end-customer who is logged-in during making the referral,
- that the hyperlink was provided to the potential new-user with such person’s consent,
- that the person receiving the hyperlink is a new user that has not been previously registered at vehicle-rent at any time,
- that such new user completes registration at vehicle-rent,
- provided that upon completion of registration new user makes a booking, while being logged into the platform, concludes booking and successfully picks up and returns the vehicle to rent-a-car provider (in accordance with booking terms & conditions and in accordance with separate agreement between End-Customer and Vehicle rent agreement) and promptly paid for all services rendered.
Usage of TravelBee Points
TravelBee Points awarded are automatically calculated by the vehicle-rent system, subject to customer meeting loyalty program requirements and conditions. Number of TravelBee Points earned is always calculated in relation to euro and is shown in other currencies for information purposes only (based on the current exchange rate between euro and such local currency).
TravelBee Points are to be used with certain future bookings (core rent-a-car services) on vehicle-rent.com, as indicated by the vehicle-rent platform. As TravelBee Points are used, a total number of user’s TravelBee Points is decreased for the corresponding number of TravelBee Points used.
TravelBee Points can only partially reduce the price of future purchase of core rent-a-car services. The system is indicating the maximum reduction of price available for certain offering – taking into account parameters such as the lowest possible price for offering with all discounts included, number of user’s available TravelBee Points and other criteria. Maximal reduction of price can vary between different offerings. Certain offerings may be excluded from TravelBee Club (Loyalty program).
If the obtained TravelBee Points are not used entirely, the potentially unused TravelBee Points shall be passed to the following bookings.
Any additional extras purchased with the booking on vehicle-rent.com site will not be part of TravelBee Club loyalty benefit scheme (e.g. optional extras, Super Excess Refund, insurance, and similar additional products).
The TravelBee Points can only be used for the core car rental service (optional extras, Super Excess Refund, insurance, and similar additional products, etc. are excluded from the loyalty program benefits) while the user is logged in to the loyalty profile.
TravelBee Point time limitations on use of Points
All the unused TravelBee Points and rewards will delete automatically after 2 years of member's inactivity (no booking done by the user or no successful referrals made during this period).
Vehicle-rent.com reserves the right to change, add or remove any TravelBee Club benefits at any time.
TravelBee Points are tied to individual users and are not transferable in any way.
In case of a canceled booking, all users unused TravelBee Points are annulled.
In case user’s profile is deleted by vehicle-rent administrators (due to breach of Terms and Conditions) all unused TravelBee Points are annulled and deleted.
This version of TravelBee Club (Loyalty program) conditions shall become effective on 26th of July, 2018. Any possible End-Customer’s unused old loyalty points gained under previous loyalty program (which could not be used to discount future purchases) shall be automatically converted to TravelBee Points based on the following equation: the number of TravelBee Points = old loyalty points / 10.
Vehicle-rent shall reasonably endeavor to ensure that TravelBee Club platform shall be available during regular operating hours of online-platform. If the TravelBee Club calculations would be inoperable due to maintenance or any technical issues we kindly ask you to retry booking at a later time since later reductions of price based on TravelBee Points are not possible.
