Pula Airport is an international airport positioned in the west of Croatia, 4.7 miles / 8 km away from the Pula city centre. Public transport from Pula Airport

Shuttle bus – you can buy your ticket and leave the airport in front of the terminal building. The bus takes you to the cities of Umag, Rovinj, Poreč, Novigrad, Rabac, Medulin, Fazana and to Pula Main bus station. It also takes you to Pula Verudela and Puntizela.

The airport doesn’t provide a VIP lounge. Wi-Fi is available for free to all customers.


In the main terminal next to the ladies’ room is a nursery room available for families with small children. Other than that, bring some snacks and toys to maintain your kids occupied during the waiting procedures.



There is an exchange office and an ATM at the airport, but and besides a café there isn’t much offered at Pula Airport.

History of Pula Airport

Pula Airport dates back to 1911, when the first departures were made from a grass field. Pula Airport was in use by the Yugoslav Army up until 1965, when the airport began to function for commercial purposes. In 1967 a small terminal was constructed, and in 1990, as a result of a continuing increase in traffic a new, bigger terminal was built.
