History of Pula Airport
Pula Airport dates back to 1911, when the first departures were made from a grass field. Pula Airport was in use by the Yugoslav Army up until 1965, when the airport began to function for commercial purposes. In 1967 a small terminal was constructed, and in 1990, as a result of a continuing increase in traffic a new, bigger terminal was built.
